Instructions
Heat oil in a pan. Add chopped onions, slit green chilis, curry leaves and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Add turmeric, mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Add ginger garlic paste and cook for 2 minutes till the raw smell goes away.
Add chicken pieces, salt and chili powder. Mix well, cover and cook for 10-15 minutes till its completely cooked. (Check notes)
Once the chicken is almost cooked, add garam masala, cumin powder and coriander powder. Mix well and cook for 5-8 minutes till it becomes dry.
Garnish with chopped coriander and serve hot with steamed rice and

Notes
You can marinate the chicken for 1 hour with salt and chili powder.
If the chicken is still undercooked but there is no moisture, add 1/2 cup of water and cook till it is completely done.
