Learn to cook Bhindi stir fry – Simple, delicious and healthy recipe. Bhindi is also known as Okra, Lady’s finger in english and bendakaya in telugu.
Firstly, use tender bhindi for more rich flavor and taste. Always wash and pat dry the bhindi before you chop it. Make sure you dry the bhindi properly with a cloth after washing with water. As little moisture also can make it slimy. Chop the top and tail ends of each bhindi/okra. Cut okra into small pieces and spread out on a plate for a few minutes, approx. 3-4 mins so that it is free of any moisture.
Bhindi is low in calories and high in fiber. Therefore, it makes you feel full for a longer time and helps you lose weight.
